• Use cotton fabric for the outer layer of your face mask since it is a tightly woven material (If you do not want to go to the store, you can simply use an old cotton pillow case or other unwanted cotton fabric)
• Place a filter inside the mask using a non-woven material (Non-woven tote bags and non-woven bed underpads can be used)
• Use an elastic hair tie or rubber band for the earloop (Make sure to fit the mask properly before sewing to avoid discomfort)
• Use clothespins or hair clips to keep the fabric in place (Easy alternative to silk pins for those who do not sew often)
